Stray Muse will be headlining the Songwriter show on Wednesday, May 15, at Golden Gate Park. This one will be special – we’re doing a set of all-original songs. These are our own songs that we’ve been performing or developing over the past couple years, with some new debuts. We’ll be recording them for an album soon, so come on out for a preview!
We’ll be on at 6pm, fog or shine.
The band will be providing live music at the Eureka Valley – Caselli Ave block party on Saturday, April 20. (That’s also known as 4-20…😏) The party is all afternoon; we’ll be playing from 12:45 to 2pm. There’ll be food, games, and a chance to meet the neighbors – you’re welcome to join the fun!
It’s on Caselli Ave (2 blocks from Market St) between Danvers and Yukon Streets.
Also, mark your calendar: Stray Muse will be featured at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell Songwriter Series on Thursday, May 15. We’ll be playing an hour of all-original songs, from 6 to 7pm.
And lastly, but not leastly, welcome our new percussionist, master cajonista Keith McConnell (on the left, below). With Keith on cajon (literally, right?), Shelley shaking and tapping, and Andy on bass, we have an awesome groove going.
Stray Muse will be the featured band for St. Patrick’s Day at the newly expanded Ocean Ale House. We’ve added a few Irish songs to our repertoire for the occasion, and we’ll be introducing a new band member.

This weekend starts a busy week for the band. On Sunday, January 14, Stray Muse be back at the Chit Chat Cafe in Pacifica (5 West Manor Drive). We’ll be doing an afternoon show from 1pm to around 3pm. Stop in for great food, drinks and music!
After another show on Wednesday night at a private club, we’ll be playing at the Noe Valley Town Square for the Farmers Market on Saturday January 21, from 11am to 12:30. It’s a great spot on 24th Street between Sanchez and Vicksburg streets. Lots of good food, veggies to take home and, of course, good music.

The Ocean Ale House is a wonderful spot – friendly, good food and (of course) ale, beer and wines. It’s a great place to listen to music while hanging out with your friends. Come on out for Sunday dinner or snacks!

Stray Muse will be back at the Chit Chat Cafe in Pacifica, CA, for a Father’s Day show on June 18. This will be our first public show with both new members, Rob Bassinette and Steve Lussie. We’ve got some new songs and new arrangements, including some new original compositions.
The show starts at 12:30pm, just in time for lunch. The Chit Chat is beachside at 5 West Manor Drive, at Esplanade. (Note – there are two Chit Chat locations in Pacifica…this is the right one!)

Stray Muse has been on hiatus since Shelley’s accident last fall. (It’s tough to play flute with three broken bones in your hand!) Since then, Rob Bassinette (bass) and Steve Lussie (guitar) have joined the band – yay!
It’s a big effort to learn a 40+ song repertoire, but Rob and Steve have been up to it. They’ve each contributed a lot to our arrangements, and our performances are feeling revitalized and fresh. Hope you’ll come check us out – we’ll be back at the Chit Chat in Pacifica on June 18 (Father’s Day!) at 12:30pm.
Last night we played the Bay View Boat Club in SF. (Rob couldn’t make it, so friend John Sweet and ex-Muse Andy Charmotz both filled in on bass.) There was a great, friendly crowd, and it was a gas to be together playing in front of live people, indoors again. Many thanks to Mike Dingle at the Boat Club for inviting us to this exclusive venue!
